Getting Stronger

We're a strength gym. A big part of what we do is getting people stronger, it's part of our underlying philosophy. Being strong is never a weakness.

There are several key principles to getting strong. Here are 5 of the key principles that if you can apply, you'll do very well:

👉 Consistency: Consistency is the key to success in any endeavor, including strength training. You need to be consistent with your workouts and stick to your program.

👉 Progressive Overload: To get stronger, you need to challenge your muscles to lift heavier weights over time. Progressive overload is the gradual increase in the weight you lift or the number of repetitions you perform. By gradually increasing the load on your muscles, you force them to adapt and grow stronger.

👉 Correct Technique: Correct technique is critical for effective and safe strength training. When you perform exercises with good form, you're more effective and reduce the risk of injury.

👉 Recovery: Recovery is essential for building strength. You need to give your body time to rest and recover between workouts to avoid overtraining and injury.

👉 Nutrition: Proper nutrition is crucial for building strength. You need to provide your body with the nutrients it needs to repair and build muscle tissue.

Sounds easy doesn't it? But the truth is very few people manage to nail these 100%. However, those that do, over a long period of time, are the one's you stare at in the gym wondering how they got so strong.
